IWEG
The International Workshop on Environmental Genomics, initiated in 2016, brings together experts from the oil & gas industry, academia, and regulatory agencies from around the world. The IWEG provides a forum to discuss the state of the art, current scientific achievements, and opportunities for application and guideline development for the emerging technology that is environmental genomics. It fosters productive and inclusive discussions on the pace of deployment of environmental genomic tools and the possible barriers and solutions to bring this technology to the mainstream.
The IWEG takes place annually in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada around the first week in June.
The 2019 IWEG will take place on June 12-13 in St John’s, NL, Canada at the St John’s Convention Center. This 2-day workshop is organized by CEGA, The Center for Environmental Genomics Applications.
